"Ms. Yelena" Graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory and Piano Performance in 1978. She went on to obtain her Masters Degree from the Moscow State Conservatory in 1980, Graduating with the "Highest of Honors".
Following Graduation she began teaching at the Moscow Conservatory as a professor of music where she taught Piano and served as the Concertmaster for the vocal department.
Her advanced students actively performed at State and National Competitions where they placed highly. Some of her students continued on to be professional musicians and have been accepted to Collages and Conservatories nation wide.
"Ms. Yelena" has been teaching in the United States since 2002 and she has prepared students for proficiency exams from beginners to the advanced college level. Many of her students have placed highly in the U.S. Open Competitions.
Students from her class are encouraged to perform in various festivals throughout the Bay Area.
She is a current member of the Music Teachers Association of California and a gifted pianist with a passion for music and the performing arts.
